If you've ever been to the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium, you definitely know how nice it is. We had a confusing time trying to find our seats, but were soon helped by a great usher!
The current stadium was built in 1959. Prior to that, Navy Football games were played at Thompson Stadium which only seated 2000 people. Now, it's the home of the state of the art Lejeune Hall.
Originally the stadium had a natural grass field and stayed that way until 2004. For the 2005 season, it was upgraded to turf and has been ever since.
In 2004 the stadium went through some upgrades to it's Press Box, the bathrooms, the concessions areas, locker rooms, and new seating in the Northwest end zone.
